Power to the cruise module is at terminal 8, I think, which you should find if the ignition is switched On, cruise switch is On, and the car is in shifted to Drive.

Hello fellow forum users, I have trouble with my 2013 Passat. Bought it used from a dealership and the cruise control is not working. The steering wheel controller got replaced at some point (2018 date sticker) and it was probably never programmed the right way. When I first opened the coding page there was no value for the cruise control selected.

There's a ribbon cable running into the steering column that, when it cracks, causes the cruise not too work. I've heard of that being the source of the problem before, and replacing the turn signal and wiper stalks (and the base that they connect to) fixed the problem.

ACC deactivated help. I have a 2017 Passat that I bought used in 2020. Shortly after owning it, the adaptive cruise control stopped working. Every time I go to use it, it says "ACC deactivated". I've taken it in to the dealership a couple of times for regular maintenance and have been told it will cost at least $600 to fix.
